Here are 5 Arduinos with 5 Arduino Temperature Project Kits and 5 Arduino LED Project Kits.

Here is our data from the miniature greenhouse growing cucumbers.

We broke out the juice! We have POWER! We just have to make sure the extention cord is set up correctly. It should look like this:


Now that we have power, we can use the Dremel Tool!

4 4 of our planter boxes are done. Here is number 4 getting finished up.

We put together a better data collection station for our miniature greenhouse, featuring a custom-built computer station with sun protection for the tablet.

The second station is getting built as well.

End of Week 17

First off, in the garden, craftsmanship is getting much better! Check out how well one of our students can cut a hole in a piece of wood to make a fidget spinner!

Although we do need to clean up the tools when they fall on the ground!

Here are my plans for an experiment:

We are trying an experiment: a Miniature Greenhouse. Topic: Data Collection when growing cucumbers in a small Greenhouse. Mrs. Twenge gave us some cucumber seeds, so we planted them into an egg carton and will be tracking some temperature data during class time.

Here is a picture of getting the Arduino set up. You can visit our Arduino Temperature Circuit page to see exactly how to do this.

Once it was operational, we took the Arduino unit outside and set it up in the miniature greenhouse.

Then we collected the temperature data for every 10 minutes starting at 12:29pm

Note: We planted one seed in each pocket for numbers 1-14. #15-24 have no seeds.
